Honesty

Momma: "James, why is Clara crying?"

James: "Oh, I just gave her an Indian burn."

Straight and honest, to the point. At least one character trait I have tried to teach him is working. Now if I could just get him to be a little more gentle....

Yikes! And bless his heart. How does he even know what an Indian burn is? Seems like the kind of thing that some punk kid would teach him in school.
