2. still no luck finding a job.
3. i am lovin' McDonald's new Frappes. so cheap too!
4. i am currently obsessed with friends again, but watching the show backwards. i finished season ten and have moved on to season nine. i am almost done, and wondering how i can get my hands on season eight when my SIL is three hours away.
5. i love open house season. with my husband as a high school track coach, we get invited to many seniors open houses. that mean lots good food and my grocery budget has definitely felt the benefit as we have eaten probabaly three meals at home in the last week.
6. my husband gave me flowers. amen!
7. my son is very into the "tah!" (trash) and throwing things away. and after you have given him something to throw away and he does put it in the trash, he asks for more. he has even been known to rip out the pages of his mickey mouse coloring book just so he can throw something away.
8. he has also been pretty interested in the potty. (my son, that is. not my husband). he will ask many times to go sit on the potty. so we take of his diaper and let him sit there, and flush when he is "done." who knows what this means, but it's sorta cute!
9. dave and i rescued an American flag last night. on the way to one of the open houses i previously talked about, we were driving behind a semi truck through the light in Richland. now, leading up to the light on every telephone pole is an American flag that the city puts up every summer. i don't think the truck could have done this if it tried, but as it was driving past on particular flag, the flag got caught in one of the hinges of the truck and got ripped of the pole. luckily, it was a red light so i asked dave if i should go get the flag. he said to go hurry, so i did! so i got out of the car and when up to the truck and pulled and pulled trying to get thatn grand ol' flag unstuck, but it wouldn't budge. so i went up to the guys window and shouted "there is an American flag stuck on your car!" (with my arms waving wildly and polinting at the side of his truck) well, his window was closed so apparently he couldn't hear me since he was pointing at his ears and giving me what was apparently the "what? i can't hear you!?!?" sign. so i stupidly yelled louder. in hindsight, i hope no one i knew saw this, because i was making a fool out of myself. so then he rolled down he window and i finally conveyed my message. then, in the middle of the lane AND a green light he stops he truck and gets out to look at the situation. (why didn't he turn the corner and go into a parking lot to fix the problem, i don't know). well he yanks and pulls and tries to open and close the door, but to no avail. so i tell him to go park by the library. well, long story short (are you all still reading??) we follow him into the parking lot and dave parks next to him, hops on our car, and gets the American flag down. what a true American hero. now, we have a American flag that belongs to the City of Richland in the back of my car, waiting to return it to them today. and trust me, i am not making this up! and for some reason the video of it wouldn't transfer from my phone, but he is a picture of dave holding the glorious rescued flag!
10. dave and i are going out on a date tonight! any ideas for a good movie to see now?
