it's been a long while. my hiatus from the internet has ended, and therefore, i am going to write an update, though i fear there is not much to update about...
- dave and i were startled last night when we heard a scratching noise outside our window. i got quite scared and upon opening our curtains we saw two beady looking eyes staring at us. yes, we were fortunate enough to see a gross little possum starting right back at us with his gross little rat tail. ewww. i get the heebie jeebies just thinking of it. luckily, he just stared at us and then walked away. and luckily, i had no possum nightmare when i was asleep. dave then also told me he once tried to kill a possum with his bb gun when he was younger. i wish i would have had one last night...
- james is doing great at growing and being a human. i am very proud of him. he's learning to be very nice when he is awake and learning not to take very long naps. the first i am very excited about, the latter i wish he'd improve on. but nonetheless, i love the little man and he's just great. he's also growing out of many of his clothes, which makes me sad. i have grown quite attached to a lot of the outfits and i am sad to see them almost done. but other than that, i love him so!
- his six week birthday was a couple of days ago, and i cannot believe that he is already this old!
- i went down to corie's this past weekend with ruth for two days. it was only planned to be one day, but we got snowed out of our state and had to stay an extra night. that was the first time i've ever gotten 'snowed out.' i was a little bummed i miss all that snowfall, but nonetheless had a good time down in 58 degree indiana. i hope spring comes soon!
- i'm mildly addicted to cadbury eggs.

yay for updates!
I was glad to have you here this weekend. Come again sometime really soon, with or without your hubby. (He's just my brother. He's expendable. :) )
Hope James decides he likes this sleeping-on-his-own thing and keeps it up for you!!
Good to see you finally update again! And I totally agree, cadbury eggs are too good, they have no chance of survival around me!
